My, oh my, how time has flown!
I treasure every. single. day. with you my angel.
Thank you for making my dream of motherhood such a beautiful reality!
I sent her off to school this morning with a promise to see her soon.
I had placed a special order to Dunkin Donuts for 24 of her favorites!
(Strawberry frosted with sprinkles!)
Marshall and I delivered them to her and her classmates during morning recess.
They were a big hit!
I kissed her good-bye for the second time that day and once again promised to see her soon!
Today was the "Fall Party" in her classroom and I volunteered to come up with and help all 24 of them execute a fall craft!
Here is what we made!
When the party was over I kissed her good-bye for the third time and yet another promise to see her soon- when school was over!
Her first words once off the bus were, can I open my presents now?!?
She had asked me a couple weeks ago to make a treasure hunt for her to find her present!
How could I say no to that?
Let the hunt begin!
First it was up to her room...
Then down to the kitchen table...
Then back up stairs
to the shower...
Then back down stairs
to the barbie house...
And then to the closet where she finally found her treasure!
For dinner she requested grilled chicken and her favorite pasta side.
Then it was time for birthday wishes and chocolate cream pie
Cheers to 6 amazing years baby girl!
Soooooo glad you were born!
***Here is our traditional birthday pic with the blow up cake!
Ditto on that "so glad you were born", my one and only granddaughter! Your Mommy sure knows how to celebrate your birthday---how much fun it was for you:)
