I woke up a bit earlier today and caught the sun just after it had risen.
My girl woke up shortly there after
We couldn't resist the call of the ocean, so we headed down- in our PJs!
Such a beautiful way to start the day!
Once the boys were up and we all were fed, it was down to the sand and surf for more glorious times!
Mia was really good on the boogie board!
The waves would carry her down the beach and she wouldn't even notice!
We had to make up some hand signals so she knew when she needed to get out of the surf and walk back along the beach to where we were!
Such a cool beach bum I have!
Marshall just couldn't get enough!
Some nice ladies on the beach took a family picture for us!
( the only one of the whole trip!)
After that it was back home (I shall think of it that way for the entirety of this vacation!- a girl can dream!) for lunch, showers, a nap for the little man and some souvenir shopping for us girls!
Then it was off for a sunset dolphin watching cruise!!!
We saw the same 2 dolphins a few times!
(So hard to see, but they are there!)
The weather was changing and there were some big waves in the Gulf ( The cruise was in the Bay) so the Captain thought that most of the dolphins must be out playing in the surf!
We did see one guy jumping and playing just on the other side if the jetty! Pretty cool stuff!
***Marshall was not too interested in this excursion and was only happy if he was playing with my camera so all pics were taken with my iPhone!
The sun set
Our cruise ended,
And we went to dinner at Pirates Landing.
A yummy restaurant we were told, that was kid friendly.
Meh.
(I've decided that we are really a simple family. Content to have sandwiches on the beach and a good ol' fashion simple, home cooked meal.)
Another day over.
Looking forward to what tomorrow brings us!
That water does remind me a bit of Rocky Point...The sunrises and that sunset are so stunning. Love the duet shots of you & Mia and Caleb & Mia:) Marshall looks fabulous in Neon Orange. xoxoxo!!!
