First Day of 1st Grade!!!

I just left my girl at her new school,

I left half my heart behind.

It is hers always.

My babies!!

The Last Week Before School....

I decided to make this a fun filled week for me and my babies.
Marshall and I are going to miss Mia so much when she goes back to school.
Here is how out week turned out!

We went to the pool with Aunt Bebe and Cousin Cole Twice!

During this trip to the pool, Cole broke out of his shell and became a water bug!

  And Mia decided to brave the slides!!!

She had so much fun!

My girl is getting so big and brave.

We had a play date at USA Gymnastics where we met some new friends that will be going to Mia's new school!

We had fun and are looking forward to a great year ahead!

I didn't get many pictures because I had to chase Marshall all over that place!

He LOVED it!

I see some Mom and Me gymnastics classes in our future!

I took the kids to the SeaLife Aquarium here.

We love anything that reminds us of the ocean and beach!

 

 

And Mia and I finished the week off with our 2nd annual back to school mani/pedi!

Mia is already showing her school pride!

Red, White and Blue are her school colors!

We all had a great week! 

Now on to the next chapter!

Snuggle bugs

Our neighbor is packing her room for college and she decided she didn't need her childhood sleeping bag anymore.

Mia was thrilled to receive it!

Of course she just had to sleep in it the first night!!

Marshall had to get in there with her...

I love seeing the love between them!

A Mini Vacation

The kids and I hit the open road and went to Albuquerque this week!
We had tons of fun!

Visiting with Grampa Eddie and Ms. Moya

Grampa Eddie has made their back yard an oasis!

He built this amazing water feature!

 There was no keeping Marshall away from it!

The Sandia Peak Tram

My mom and I took the kids up the tram!

I hadn't been since I asked to do it for my 6th birthday!

Once at the top we took some pictures and then went on a little hike!

We found a nice spot and stopped for a picnic!

Then it was more hiking!

It was so beautiful and cool up there.

I even got goosebumps!!

Such a glorious change from the heat back home!

It was all fun and games,

and then Marshall and got his first real scraped knee :0(

We cleaned it with some water and gave it lots of healing kisses!!

And then it was time to head back down the mountain!

I so love making these memories with my mama and my babies!

We had the usual gathering of family and friends!

I always feel so loved when I go back home!

Christmas in July!

Prior to our arrival my mom commented that she was worried the kids had

 outgrown the toys she has at her house.

So we browsed Amazon.com and bought the kids a couple new toys!

We set them up one night while they were sleeping and when they woke up it was like

Christmas morning!!

I love all things water and the ABQ aquarium does not disappoint!

A visit with Papa Steve!

I can't remember the last time we took a picture together!

And then, just like that it was time to say good-bye.

It was a fun filled 5 days.

I loved spending so much time with my mom

 and the kids always love seeing Mama d!

It is always so hard to say good-bye.

So as my Momo says, we say

"See you later"

instead!
