It took all my strength to stay away as long as I did.
She had one particularly bad day and that was it-
I was on my way!
As I was driving I tried hard not to think about the fact that I wouldn't see my babies for 2 1/2 days. I have never spent the night away from Marshall and can count on one hand the number of nights I have spent away from Mia.
But I was seriously looking forward to some 1:1 time with my mom! It had been over 6 years since we have had that!
We had a wonderful weekend!
I nursed her, helped her think of new, inventive ways to do things one handed and lifted her spirits!
It lifted both of our spirits really.
There's nuthin like a mama's love!
I did FaceTime with my family at least twice a day!
The second night I even got to read with Mia in her bed!
Here is mom's arm in all of its bruised and swollen glory.
She has to wear this sling to keep her arm immobile.
It is a joy :-/
She is a trooper and will be back to perfect soon!
