Rollie Pollie!

My baby rolled over today!
And not just once, like 4 times!
Every time I put him on his belly, when he decided tummy time was done, over he would go!

Happy...

 happy again!!!

I looked back at the calendar I kept with Mia and her first front to back roll was at 16 weeks.
He is 10 weeks old people!!!
Ah jeez!
This little dude is gonna keep me runnin' for sure!

My little reader!

I just have to brag on my girl a bit!
She is quite the reader these days!
When I put her to bed, she reads to me!
And not just beginner books, level 1 and 2!
And she is constantly reading things around her.
Road signs, signs at the store, words on commercials, the back of the cereal box!!!
I love hearing her sound out words she doesn't know! It is so cool!
I am in awe of her brain!
Love it!
Keep learning my precious girl!

Me and the kiddos flew to Albuquerque to spend some time with my mom and to introduce Marshall to all his family there!

2 Months Old!

My sweet boy is 2 months old today!
How did this happen?!?
He is sleeping in his own room,
smiling,
cooing,
reaching for the toys that hang on his bouncy seat,
tracking us with his eyes,
and making us fall more in love with him every day!

Today at his 2 month check he weighed 10#12oz!
(he weighed 10#1oz when he went into the hospital 10 days ago! He certainly didn't let a little stomach bug slow him down!)

We love you little buddy!

A family affair!

Today we had a picnic at the park with both my sisters and their kiddos!
The kids had so much fun playing!

Billie and I just hung out with the littles in the shade!

It was a fun time with my sisters!

The Ostrich Festival 2012

We went to the Ostrich Festival with the Gifford Girls today!
Mia had fun hanging out with her friends and riding the rides with them!
