Strong Teeth!

I have a feeling my girl is going to come home with one less tooth today!
(She tried and tried to get it out before school and it is just barely hanging on!)

Indoor Picnic

My boy is so sick of being cooped up because of this heat!
He asked if we could have a picnic today.
I'm tired of having to say "No, it's too hot!" So...

We had a picnic inside!!!

First day of 3rd grade!

Swingin' In the Rain!

 We are soaking up all the time we can before school starts! 

Marshall and I will miss Mia so bad!

This morning we had a lovely rain shower and the kids got to swing in it!

Later we did some painting.

Mia was painting some Shopkins and so I got the finger paints out for Marshall.

He does NOT like getting his hands dirty so we used paint brushes instead!

Mani/pedi

The mom and Mia before school starts mani/pedi tradition continues!

She picked the color and design.
I wasn't brave enough to get it on my fingernails so we both got an M! This way I will think of her every time I see it and she will think of me!

Just Sayin...

PRESCHOOL!!

Today was Marshall's first day of preschool.
He was super excited.

Until I had to leave.
He screamed.
I sat in the parking lot for a few minutes fighting the urge to just go back in and bring him home with me.
We both stayed strong and toughed it out.

He was pretty happy when I picked him up and said he made a friend named "Sam"!

Fingers crossed for Thursday!

Back home

Tonight Mia said the most precious words I think I have ever heard.
(While touching and hugging me)
"It's been so long since I've felt this skin"!!
Sigh. She is my world.
My cup runneth over.
Glad to be home.
