Another brainiac!

Marshall and I started playing with Flashcards today.
He thought it was so fun.
And I was very impressed with his letter recognition!

Tonight at family dinner we had a ukulele jam session!

Friday is Marshall's favorite day of the week because it is GYMNASTICS DAY!!!
We were lucky today because daddy got to come too!

Caleb is gearing up for an important job interview, so he finally took a 2 year old gift card to The Men's Wearhouse and got some spiffy duds!
I can count on 1 hand the number of times I have seen him dressed like this in the last 21 years.
Mia has never seen it and she was swept off her feet by her handsome daddy!
She was absolutely smitten with him.
She asked if he would take her to her first prom dressed like this!
He will always be her first love.

Today we wish Daddy a very happy birthday as he enters a new decade in life.

Seems like just yesterday we celebrated his 30th.
We love you so much babe.
You just keep gettin' better every year.
Sooooo glad you were born.

Friday night dinner!

Grampa comes over most every Friday night for dinner!
Marshall sits and looks out the window hours before he is due to arrive!
Tonight I looked over and there were my kiddos on their iPad and iPod all snuggled up with Gramps!

A message to my babies

Mia lost her 1st tooth!

Another big milestone my girl has been anxiously awaiting has arrived!
She finally lost her first tooth!
And she lost it at school, just like she wanted to so she could get the special tooth holder necklace!

I remember when this little guy changed her gummy smile.

Sigh.

Where has the time gone???

She was so excited to put her tooth under her pillow.
She even wrote a note for the tooth fairy!

Award Ceremony

At Mia's new school they do a monthly award ceremony where they recognize students for their work in math, language arts and social studies.

Today was the first assembly of the year.

My girl got an award for her amazing reading skills!

We are so proud of you Mia Raney!
