Summer time fun!

We are already having fun this summer!!

Mia doesn't think everything is fun!

But she is happy to help her mama finish some chores!

Because that means more time for fun!

After graduation I had to take my girl to the doctor. 

Turns out she has a sinus infection!

Finger Painting Fail

Today I decided to introduce Marshall to the fun of finger paints!

He was really excited to try something new

Mia loved finger painting.

Marshall?

Not so much.

I put his paint shirt on to keep his shirt clean, 

He touched the paint, then immediately wiped it on the cloth chair!

Sheesh! 

I tried to show him the fun of getting messy, 

Smeared his hand up and made some hand prints.

We were all cleaned up and on to something else within 5 minutes!

Cousin time!!

Penny came to visit this weekend! 

We packed a lot of fun in to 3 days!!

Thursday night we had a BBQ at Billie's house.

Friday we had lunch with Jill

Followed by water adventures!

Friday night it was Tim McGraw!

Whoop whoop!

We traveled to the west side for the concert. 

Not knowing the area, all we found for some preconcert food and drinks was Hooters! 

Ha! 

Oh well, the libations were good!

Then we were ready for the concert!

We got lawn seats, brought a blanket and had some more drinks!

We were pretty far from the stage

Thank goodness for the big screens!

Pretty sure we both grinned and giggled like school girls most of the time!

It was a fun concert and a great night with my cuz!

Saturday was our first dip in the pool for 2014!!

I am too whimpy for that cold water!

Just dipped my feet in!

Next on the calendar was girls movie time!

We snuggled in my bed and watched Frozen.

I may or may not have fallen asleep!

Next we had a BBQ and then it was

dance party time!

The grand finale was a 30th birthday cup cake for Penny!

Cheers to 30 years! We hope you have an excellent year ahead!

Penny left for home this morning.

We will miss her, but are so happy for the fun times we had!
